Crisis Line Volunteer
As a volunteer you will make a measurable difference to those affected by family violence. Whether as a kind voice at the end of the line or by facilitating refuge to women and children in immediate need.

Crisis Line Volunteer
Our Crisis Line operates 24/7, answered during the day by our staff and after-hours patched through to our volunteers. Calls will come from women who are in difficult situations but are not urgent as well as those in crisis who are in need of immediate refuge.

We will provide you with the necessary training to ensure you can tell the difference.

Taking about 3-4 shifts a month, the hours we need covered (from home) are:

Weekday shifts are as follows;

Monday to Thursday: 5 pm - 8 am

Friday 5pm to 9am
Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays: -
Daytimes are split into 2 shifts

8am to 1pm and 1pm - 5pm.

5pm to 9am

FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

*Please note a full driver's licence, access to a car and clearing a police check are essential.
