How to donate

If you’re feeling festive this holiday season and want to show your support for women and children experiencing family violence in the Hutt Valley, look no further. We are now open and accepting Christmas gifts for our clients. If you would like to donate to your community this Christmas, please find instructions and guidance below.

How to donate:

  • Purchase a Christmas gift of your choice.

  • Ensure you deliver your gift unwrapped - this is important!

  • Drop it off at 32 Pretoria Street, Lower Hutt City by Monday, 6th December.

Don’t forget about the teenagers:

  • We have teenage clients who need gifts too and can often be forgotten.

  • If you’re unsure of what to gift a teenager a small gift voucher would make a great Christmas present.

Donating to women:

  • We also accept Christmas gift donations for the women we support.

  • Simply give a small gift similar to what you’d give to a friend or relative.

  • Avoid essentials like toiletries and feminine hygiene products.

Gifts we cannot accept. Please refrain from donating the following:

  • War weapon toys, like toy guns, knives and bow and arrows.

  • We appreciate you avoiding anything that can be used to mimic violence.
