When you join us as a volunteer, you're not just helping out, you're becoming a valued member of our community. Our volunteers are part of the family and a cherished member of our tight-knit team. 

We always need more help and volunteers! Whether that's on our Crisis Line or as a helping hand at the Refuge. If you would like to help, we'd love to hear from you!

We couldn't get by without the help of our community and their gift of time. If you're ready to become part of our team submit your application today!

The process 

This is an easy two-step process that can be completed online. Complete our online application form that is linked below. Once you have completed this, download the Police Vetting form, complete it and email a copy to refuge@huttwomen.org.nz

Ensure you complete both forms or we cannot process your application. If you have any questions email us at refuge@huttwomen.org.nz or call 04 569 1040. 

Next Steps 

Once you've submitted the above forms we'll be in touch with you! Be aware, the Police Check may take 1-3 weeks to process. 

Please note that all volunteers will be subject to a screening process. General volunteers will be screened, Crisis Line volunteers will need to meet screening and training requirements.

Annual Appeal volunteers are not required to submit an application.
